India: The board of Ambuja Cements has approved an extension to its Marwar Mundwa integrated plant project in Rajasthan. The clinker production capacity of the plant has been increased to /yr and an additional /yr cement grinding capacity has been added. The total investment of the project has been increased to around US326m.

Company is augmenting its cement manufacturing capacity by setting up a cement plant of Million TPA capacity in the premises adjacent to the company''s existing plant Manikgarh Cement at Gadchandur, in the state of Marashtra.
